Just few months ago, I was a firm believer that AAP is going to lose the election if it happens today, but now after 3-4 months all the polls are predicting a simple majority for AAP. So what has changed in these some months.
1) Even after 8-9 months of being elected Modi govt failed to woo people of the country in terms of reducing inflation ,corruption , crime.. Although Modi has taken vital steps for improving trade and image of India among other countries but these steps doesn't involve or facilitate a common man in his day to day life. While on the other hand, In 49 days of AAP govt, 50% reduction in electricity and free water and many such measures directly favoured a common man. People had already seen the trailer of what may come if AAP comes in power again. They want to see more of AAP.
2)While AAP is very clear on the agenda they are fighting on , they made some overwhelming promises and convinced people that they are achievable by even showing rough calculation to support the things said but on contratry BJP even failed to produce any manifesto. BJP's stategy was more of striking AAP rather than on taking care of real issues.
3)Fielding kiran bedi was a desperate move or master-stroke ??, Kiran bedi herself made it very clear. She thought she will skip the scrutiny as of why she joined politics, BJP and all about her past which even kejriwal had to face very harshly when he joined politics. She was not at all prepared on the issues and questions which people may ask of her joining BJP. She was not the same old kiran bedi anymore.
